Scott Brand hails from Lineville, Alabama, where he started singing at the age of 6 years old. Scott has traveled full time singing lead previously for the multi award winning Hall of Fame quartet from Gadsden, AL - Gold City Quartet and multi award winning mixed quartet from Nashville, Tn - The Perrys, In addition to solo work, he curently sings lead for the Inspirationals Quartet of Texas. He currently lives in Roanoke, AL with his wife Caitlin and their 10 year old daughter Brelynn.

Poet Voices has long been recognized for its distinctive voice and meaningful contribution to Southern Gospel music. The group was formed in the early 1990s by a young songwriter named Phil Cross, who, though already enjoying success, was writing far more material than the popular groups of the day could record. Seeking an outlet for those songs and a platform where the message could be presented exactly as written, Cross formed Poet Voices, a name that reflected both the lyrical depth of the songs and the collective voices bringing them to life.

From the very beginning, the group made an immediate impact. Poet Voices released its first single to radio shortly after forming, and it quickly climbed the charts to become the group’s first number one song. That early success signaled a strong connection with listeners and set the stage for what would become a celebrated legacy. Fans embraced the group’s unique presentation of the Gospel, leading to an array of honors, multiple chart topping songs, and the prestigious Song of the Year recognition for “I Am Redeemed.” Poet Voices’ music became known for its sincerity, strong lyrical foundation, and lasting spiritual impact.

Today, Poet Voices continues its journey with renewed focus and purpose. The group is now comprised of Phil Cross, Donny Henderson on lead, Loren Harris on baritone, Jeff Snyder on tenor, and K.C. Armstrong on bass. Henderson’s transition into the lead vocal role brings both clarity and continuity to the Poet Voices sound, offering longtime listeners a familiar spirit while adding renewed strength and confidence out front. Cross remains a central presence on stage, connecting deeply with audiences as he shares the stories and inspiration behind the songs that have shaped the group’s legacy. The addition of Loren Harris at baritone, combined with Henderson on lead, has added a depth and power to the quartet’s overall sound that is immediately evident.

Rounding out the vocal blend are Jeff Snyder and K.C. Armstrong. Snyder is widely regarded as one of the most beloved individuals in Gospel music, and his reputation continues to grow as he is increasingly recognized as one of the genre’s finest tenors. Armstrong, a twenty year United States Army veteran, brings a distinctive bass voice reminiscent of an earlier era of quartet music, and his sound and presence have quickly made him a fan favorite.

In concert, audiences can expect a thoughtful blend of Poet Voices favorites such as “Jesus Built a Bridge” and “One Holy Lamb,” along with songs from Cross’s pen that have become Gospel classics through recordings by other artists, including “Wedding Music,” “When I Get Carried Away,” and “Champion of Love.” Audiences are also beginning to hear new music born out of a growing songwriting partnership between Cross and Henderson. That collaboration has already produced several well received co writes, including “It Won’t Be Long,” “I Remember Lost,” and “Doin’ What a Child of the King Should Do,” further reflecting the group’s continued commitment to meaningful and message driven songs.

The Riddells are a family trio consisting of Sonja and her children Justin and Kayla. They have been in the ministry since 2001. Each member brings their own unique style to the group. The Riddells are a mix of Bluegrass, Contemporary, and Soul tied together with a Southern Gospel bow. They have had many experiences along the way and have found God to be ever faithful. In their years of traveling, they have sang in 19 states, as well as Jamaica. This family truly loves life on the road, but to them it is not a hobby, a pastime, or an occupation. It is a calling.
